Noach Excerpts

Shabbat Shalom

(8:15-17) H’ tells Noach to leave the ark. He is in there for a long time. Even after there was some dry land...I have to coach you people through every little thing....
I don’t know if you needed the new wrench. Frank. You have to make your own decisions sometimes...I am not the guy to ask about the violence perpetrated at Cross County Nursery. There are many violent children there...Are they evil? Are they the cause for downfall of society?...

H’ tells him to leave. He tells him to take his family and animals with him. It is time to leave the ark. Noach waited and again followed H's orders.
The children we sent to Israel. It was a whole process. They didn't listen to us. The Chelmie family tried so hard to get rid of Samantha. They wanted Samantha out of the home. They told her to go. She didn't follow...They told her it was enough...She needed a new Mac. That was the only way to get her to out.
Sometimes you have to just go. You feel safe, but H’ has to tell you to go. When your parents want you out of the house. It is time to go...The Florences didn't love Brian. The Melkmans have to watch over their children a bit more. Betsy bites the other children a bit too much...not a reason to kick her out of the home...

When is it time to go? When is H' telling us, 'You have been here for too long?' When you have been a member of Anshei Emet for more than four years, H' is telling you. Bernie has been a member here for over 70 years...12 rabbis have already left. They heard the calling...The Schwazingers- 10 generations. They should have left this community 40 years ago...We cannot get rid of them.
When are we going to hear H's voice...The Chelmies have not. The Melkmans have not.
This place has been cursed. The Schwazingers are still here. It is time to leave...

(8:21) H’ smells Noach’s sacrifice and decides that He will not curse the earth anymore…because man is ‘bad from his youth.’
We know that Rivi has been running around the shule since she was three.
We know Michael never had hope for success.
We know Bernie has been chaching for the past five weeks, all over the herring area.
We know Betsy took of skin yesterday.
We know Chana slaps all of her friends and doesn't share.
We know it is the children at Cross County Nursery that are hurting our future....

Like Noach. One little positive thing. A sacrifice, is all we ask for. Cross County needs parents who care. The Home needs volunteers. The shule needs somebody to volunteer to talk to Bernie, so everybody else can enjoy kiddush...Only through listening to H,' following the signs, gratitude and sacrifice can this earth be saved. The next person flying to Israel has to say know to the Chelmie family. We will not bring anything else to Israel for Samantha. Ship it...

David also tours as a Maggid around the world, with very few stories.
